Our Story
Poole Associates was founded in 1998 by John Poole with a straightforward mission: give Charlotte small businesses access to the same quality IT support that large enterprises take for granted — without the enterprise price tag.
In those early years, IT support meant showing up with a toolkit and fixing what was broken. Today, it means proactive monitoring, cloud management, layered cybersecurity, and strategic planning. The technology has changed completely. Our commitment to Charlotte businesses has not.
Over 25 years, we've supported law firms, medical offices, construction companies, financial advisors, and hundreds of other Charlotte businesses. Some of our clients have been with us for over 15 years. That kind of loyalty happens because we treat every client's business like it's our own.

John founded Poole Associates in 1998 with a simple mission: give Charlotte small businesses the same quality IT support that Fortune 500 companies take for granted. 25+ years later, that mission still drives everything we do.
Vannak handles day-to-day endpoint management, hardware deployments, and client onboarding. His diagnostic instincts and calm under pressure make him an invaluable part of the PAI team.
Ian specializes in network infrastructure, server administration, and Microsoft 365 environments. When something breaks at 5 PM on a Friday, Ian is the person you want on the other end of the line.
